Baby Billy is here, and already he has a sense of humor!
Born at 2:50PM and weighing in at 7 lbs 4 oz, and 20" long, Billy is already as cute as can be.
Jason and I were headed down to Sarah and Wayne's house to hang out with mom and Gregory until we got word that the baby had come and we could go visit them in the hospital, but when we got to the house there was nobody there. We drove down to the parks in the neighborhood thinking that maybe mom had taken Greg and the dog out to play, but they weren't there either. Thinking that maybe the baby had come and she had already left, we called the hospital and spoke with Wayne. The baby had just come and Wayne was working on sending out announcement texts.
Off we went! We got to the hospital shortly before 4 and we got to hang out and take pictures with Sarah and Wayne while they were still in the delivery room watching Hidalgo. As we were moving down the hallway to our recovery room, we ran into Chloe, Walter, and Padon, and they got to help us move.
In the next few hours more family and friends came and went, with Mom and Greg who had been playing at the Lakehouse (Greg tripped and fell in the lake), Catharine, Dad, and Sal and company.

Chloe made Billy a really great baby blanket that's open in the middle so he can slide his hands and arms around in it and also has holes knitted into each row for him to stick his fingers through.
It was great having the whole family there (with the exception of Pat, who we missed, because he is in Navy bootcamp) and getting to visit with Sarah, Wayne, and the newest addition, Billy.
